Educational leadership has a critical role in the evolution of society. Effective leaders are the key to its effective transformation. Educational leaders are faced with the demands of a rapidly changing global environment. Along with the widespread belief that the quality of leadership makes a significant difference to student outcomes, there is also increasing recognition that effective school leaders and managers have to be developed for providing the best possible educational experience for their learners. It seeks to explore an understanding of quality education and the critical challenges to it in the current global situation. The task of preparing future citizens is becoming increasingly complex and daunting and requires the skills of leadership and attitude for lifelong learning. This programme aspires to enable sustainable leadership through receptive learning and change to deliver optimum quality.
